WTB: iPod Dock

Okay, so just sold my 4G iPod on eBay, and to get a bit more money for it I included the dock I had (worked great! got nearly $200 shipped for the thing!!).

buuuut.. now I'd like a dock again. would prefer a universal one, but an older one is just fine, too, as long it will fit a 60gb 5G well.

so, anyone?

there's one person over on macnn offering me one of his older ones for $20 shipped, but i think that's a bit steep. for $15 more i might as well buy a brand new universal one from apple. i bought the one i included with my eBay auction from someone on here for $8 shipped i think.

I have two docs from my 4g. I had three (long story) sold one with my 4g ipod and now I have two. One with a box, one without. If you take the one without the box I'll send it for $16.00 shipped. Why $16? I want to try and get $10 for it and if I ship priority (which is the only way I tend to ship) then it'll cost me $6.05. If interested, let me know.

i assure you it would not cost $6 to ship a dock w/o a box. i ship out things quite a bit and you're looking more at 2 bucks max. i just shipped out a notebook HD in an oversized box (to give lots of room for padding), with signature confirmation, and it only cost $3.90.

oh well, looks like i got really lucky with the $8 shipped dock from magid. if no more offers come up, i'll just go ahead and order a universal dock.. that has quite a few more options/features than the older docks, anyway.

I would just go for a universal dock, the remote function alone is well worth it.
