Feeler: Mac Mini Setup (Mini/LCD/Speakers/etc)

Hi, I am looking to find out what my system is worth today. I have an Intel Mac Mini (Solo/Base Specs) with a Sony SDM-HS53 15'' Display. The mini was bought in June and I have boxes/documentation/etc for all the items except the display. I also have a pair of Bose Companion ll speakers with an Apple Keyboard + Mighty Mouse. I have pictures to show the condition of all the items here (http://www.kevinschaefer.net/macmini.pdf). The mini, speakers, keyboard, and mouse are in mint condition. The LCD has one dead pixel shown in the PDF. Here is a list of the prices I paid for the items:

Mac Mini - $599 (PowerMAX)
Display - $200 (eBay)
Speakers - $99 (CompUSA)
Keyboard - $29.99 (CompUSA)
Mighty Mouse - $49.99 (CompUSA)

With that in mind, any idea what my setup is worth?

Display - $100-$125 (17"-ers are now going for about $150)
keyboard and mouse set i'd say about $50
Maybe $700 whole set?

I might be completely off, but I think for the core solo with base specs plus all that $700-$750 isn't too bad.

The biggest thing that has lost value is the 15" monitor. I mean over the summer i bought 2x17" for about $200 a peice, and i would be lucky to get $150 for each, and that was just 2 months ago. Hope that helps some.

yeah, i think prodigiousfool is right. the 15" inchers are hard to find buyers for.. 17" is kind of the smallest people are buying these days. looking at eBay, i'd say $85-$100.

the solo can be had from apple as a refurb for $480, so you're looking at less than that. maybe somewhere around $450-$465ish.

the keyboard and mouse are wired, so $50 sounds about right.

the speakers are still $100 new from amazon, so you probably haven't lost much there - $85 i'd say at the low-end.

it also depends where you sell it: eBay will fetch a much higher price than around here will, but then you also have fees.

uummm.......I've seen NEW 17" LCDs as low as 89.99 lately, so I doubt you'd get anything near that for a used 15". The main thing in favor of getting anything at all out of it is that it is a Sony, which tend to be somewhat higher quality than some other brands :)

the mini should probably fetch ~$350 around here, but a bit more on ebay
the KB & mouse set ~$30, sab
speakers *yawn*

I'd say ask for $600 for the whole set-up on craigslist or ebay.......

i'd pay $600 for that entire setup. ($450 for the mini, $50 for the 15" display, $50 for the keyboard and mouse, and $50 for the speakers.) 15" displays just aren't worth much anymore.

i'd really have to consider my situation, but for 600 i'd almost not be able to pass this up.
