This is a PowerMac G5 PowerPC desktop computer, purchased new (May 2005) with only one owner. The machine is in like new condition and includes all manuals, software, and packaging...even the Apple stickers!
I'm including the ATI X800 XT (256 MB) video card at no additional charge -- a $400 value -- as well as the original ATI 9600 XT video card that came with the unit. Also includes iLife 06 Retail Package
Complete Specifications
• G5 DP 2.0 GHz PowerPC processors
• 1 GHz frontside bus speed
• 2.5 GB DDR SDRAM (2x1GB+2x256MB) (4 total slots available, supports 4 GB max)
• 160 GB SATA drive, 7200 RPM (1 empty drive bay slot available)
• 16x SuperDrive (DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+R DL (Double Layer) DVD+RW, CD-R, CD-RW)
• Four expansion slots: One AGP 8x Pro slot, three open 33MHz, 64-bit PCI slots
• 10/100/1000BASE-T internal Ethernet / One FireWire 800 port; two FireWire 400 ports; three USB 2.0 ports
• ATI X800 XT AND ATI 9600 XT video card
• iLife 06 Retail Package
• Tiger 10.4 PM restore discs
• Apple keyboard (w/ two USB 1.1 ports)
• Apple mouse (unused)
• Complete packaging materials (box, manuals, etc)
A similarly equipped machine from the Apple Store would be over $2,300 with the included software, just over $2,000 with EDU discount. This doesn't include the ATI X800 XT video card bought separately!
Shipping is from West Jordan, Utah. Insurance is available at buyer's discretion.
Not sure what this is worth, but I'd be happy with something in the $1,200 range.
