who got banned in the top posters

if i remember correctly, the order of the top ten posters has changed...i think some names are missing

did some high posting members quit or get banned?

besides spikey from the old days?

and i know the great alphatech went on to start his own site, but he comes back here every now and again

I think I did, or more correctly, Macrumors acended from somewhere around 2000 posts to over 3000 one day, not sure what happened, you'd have to ask arn.

no there weren't any bannishments, I think vniow is correct. Macrumors got a boost somehow....not sure myself.

I think "Macrumors" is the name of the primary vBulletin admin account, which arn (and maybe blackespot) use to post news and stuff.

correct - it also posts all the submissions to the private submissions board - where arn looks over to see what could possibly be new or interesting.

it could be that there have been a rash of submissions lately with all the new members and interest in the site that gives macrumors the big jump in posts.....

I thought it was during the Geek thread fiasco, and when posts got deleted/wastelanded they somehow added to Macrumors' post count.
