I wouldn't consider that a April Fools Joke, but just plain mean. I hope they will receive punishment of some kind. I'm so sorry that this happened to you! :(

I think that the greatest April Fool's joke was played on us at Mac Forums, "eyelikeart is missing." It really brought about alot of speculation and furious posting yesterday. It even got arn's attention! :p

i replied first and i am no dumbass-anyone who posts any news **** on april 1 is stupid and it take an extreme fool to believe any of it :p

lol they deleted all of my programs but left my files and code intact...i formatted their entire hard drives, erased the contents of the RAID that we're sharing (their files), pulled the plug on the network (unfortunately most of the stuff they need is in my room :D ), nuked their backup CD's and DVD's and left a gigantic april fools banner in their room, draped over the power macs that have no power supply :D

first off ubergeek you were complaining about what tehy did to you and then you pulled that off, thats not cool man you should have been the better person there, but you were probabbly fuming so its understandable i guess.
as far as the fools posts goes medeas was the best though not really the funniest because it was sort of dark humor, but the eyelikeart one was pretty funny but not at all belivable. its a tie.:cool:

i had a lot of programs on that power mac...upwards of 300 i think. that means to reinstall every single one of the programs i would have to restart the poor mac at least 50 times or so not to mention the fact that i lost the CD's to a lot of them...
besides, they're off in NY i think so i'm safe for another couple of days :p

The best joke that happened to me was when my english teacher posted the grades.

Everything seemed normal, there are about 3 A grades in the class, a few Bs and Cs, and a lot of Ds and Fs.

Well the grades are posted, and everyone has an F. It seemed realistic because there were real point totals in there. We were all shocked.

She just sat at her desk and was working away like nothing happened. When we asked about the grade, she just said to "come see me at lunch".

Later on in the period, she said it was a joke...lol

Without question, the eyelikeart missing thread was perpetrated as the funniest April Fools story at Macrumors. Not to mention it was probably the dumbest plot of all time.

On April 1st my Chemistry teacher said he had a quiz and we thought it was an April Fools joke. He said he didn't even realize it was April Fools. He had a quiz for us. No joke.

I would have to say the medea one, I just read it today and didn't notice the date stamp for half a page.

The eyelikeart thread was hilarious, especially all of eye's concerned children. I had no idea someone so smelly could be so prolific ;) :D
