I have posted two tracks on my .Mac site. They are electronica, so please don't sample them if you hate the genre. All else, please check them out and let me know what you think. You can contact me via MacRumors or through my MacRumors profile.

Thanks in advance for taking a minute.
Dan

So what's your .Mac page? I tried hompage.mac.com/alset, but...

i like it. I haven't listened to much electronica, techno, and
digitalized music, but I like this.

The 'inspired' one is better. :)

Although I usually listen to more hardcore trance, I liked it. Some parts were screaming 'MIDI KEYBOARD' but it didn't take away from the nice flow. Guess there should be more of a build up and a more definite climax section, but other than that, great stuff :)

HAHAHAHA! Sorry, I forgot that my profile linked to a different web space. Special thanks to scem0 for posting the link. Feel kinda silly, now.

Thanks to all who give a listen.

irmongoose: Any specifics you can point out about when MIDI becomes super apparent?

maradong: I'm using Logic Platinum 6 with the ES2 soft synth and outboard gear (Korg Karma, MS2000R, Electribes M, A and S, and a Roland SH-32).

The first minute of the Inspired track... the piano playing in the foreground, not the background.

You hear a piano pushed forward? I have one piano, pushed behind the strings, on my monitoring system. Is this the one you mean?

BTW - Your feedback seems to coincide with general opinion. I am actually thinking about rewriting the intro and dropping the piano/strings altogether. Thoughts?

Yeah it definetely is a piano... and it does seem to push forward, yes. Maybe you could do something to not make it stand out, or as you said, just do the intro all over without a piano.

Dude, if I didn't know any better I'd say this was some old first generation Rave music.

Sounds very Derrick May-esque. Are you familiar?

For those who aren't he's the Father of Electronic Music.
