I've never bought or sold a used game. When you sell them shortly after it comes out (say 1-2 months) can you usually get a pretty good price for them? Also what site is better for this kind of stuff. I refuse to use ebay but imagine there is somewhere much better anyway made especially for this.

Thanks

generally i use amazon
type in the name of the game
and see what folks are selling it as used and new
i sell most of my stuff through amazon as well
they take a commission- but not a ton

other places to look:
craigslist.org

or post the info on here and ask folks
although i've never really gotten excellent 'timely' information back when it comes to using that method...

It really depends on the game. Sports games tend to fetch a lot less. Popular RPG's a bit more. I have found ebay to get the best price, almost close to what I pay for a game, if it's a hot or hard to find title.

Expect to get about half of what you paid on the game. Assumming there wasn't already a price drop on the title.

Yeah, it depends on the game, just don't sell to EBGames as you will get completely ripped off. I use Ebay

Agreed Eb games is waste of potetial profit. You can sell it else where for much better and most of the stuff that eb games sells back is scratched or works sapratically. I have bought only a couple of games from eb and I am dissapointed.

You could try www.sellgamesonline.com but I don't know how reputable they are. Has anyone ever used this site before?

half.com is another good place to buy and sell used stuff on too. and gauge prices in the process as well.

Just FYI: Half.com, I'm sure, is connected to ebay too.
