original Oregon Trail on PPC

I know that this has been brought up from time to time but I couldn't find a definitive answer.
Is there a way to get the original Oregon Trail legally installed and working on my iMac G5?
To note, I'm not interested in Oregon Trail 5 or other version, I'm looking for the classic.

More specifically - any Mac versions online that will work under PPC Apple II emulators? Got an emu running (Virtual ][ ?) but couldn't figure out how to mount or run the Oregon Trail file I found; it was a zip archive, so I suspect a PC version? BTW, that version was from a legit "classic games" site (one that shied away from infringing ROMs) and seemed legal.
