If anyone remembers, in October of 2005 Feral announced a Mac version of Black & White 2.

I emailed them about this and also asked about Black & White 1's Intel compatibility, and this is what they had to say (I hope they don't mind me quoting them):
Black and White 2 is still in the very early stages, so we don't have much information to give you. We haven't scrapped the game, but it's probably going to be a fairly long time before it's released.
Black and White 1 will work on an Intel Mac, and will be perfectly playable provided you're using a fast machine. You should look at the system requirements listed and then take into account that B&W1 is not a Universal Application; that is, it wasn't written for Intel Macs and hasn't been patched to be fully compatible yet. B&W1 has low requirements though, and so a decent iMac, MacBook Pro or Mac Pro will run it at a good speed.
It should be noted that we will not provide full support in the event of an issue caused by the fact that you're running the game on an Intel Mac, although we will give full support for any normal problems. We are not currently aware of any Intel-specific problems.
Black and White has a fairly good chance of being patched to a Universal Application in the future, although we don't know when this might be as we have yet to decide which games will or will not receive patches.
