This is a big ole feeler.

I'm considering trading my blackbook for a desktop, since I don't need a laptop as much as I thought I would, and I think a desktop might better suit my needs.

Anyways, I'm not interested in any mac mini's or iMacs, just the PowerMac G5's (or Mac Pro ;) just kiddin). I'm not too picky about specs - I just want to see what might be out there.

I'd like either a straight up trade, or cash on your part depending on the system. I'm going to shy away from any deals that will want money on my part, BUT shoot them my way anyways just in case.

Anyways, the specs of my macbook:

- Black
- obviously, 2.0Ghz
- Superdrive
- 2GB of RAM
- 120GB, 5400rpm HD

All the usual BT, APE, etc etc. Basically it's the stock blackbook with upgraded RAM and HD. Was only purchased a month ago, so it still has 329 days of Applecare left. I also have a STM sleeve for it, and the mini-dvi to dvi adapter - both of which I wouldn't be needing anymore if a trade was made.

It's in perfect condition (spends most of its time on my desk), and I have all of the original packaging, software, accessories, etc. Also have the receipt.

So, yeah, like I said: big feeler, but if anyone might be interested, shoot me a PM or reply here.

Oh, should also mention: No, I'm not interested in selling this outright, or any of the upgraded components or anything. I'll either make a trade or I'll keep it.

I've got a dual 1.8 G5 I'm trying to get rid of. You might want some cash in addition, but let me know what you think.

Dual 1.8 G5 (June 2004 Rev.)
1.25 GB RAM (This tower has 4 slots available, 4GB max)
Bluetooth
Airport Extreme
80GB SATA
120GB SATA
ATI Radeon 9600 XT, 128MB
Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-108 Superdrive (Updated firmware to 1.18, allows -R, -RW, +R, +RW, +R DL burning as well as faster speeds)
Original packaging, manuals, accessories, mouse, keyboard, etc.
Wired Mighty Mouse

This system does not have Applecare, nor is it eligible anymore.

Just wanted to let everyone know that xfiftyfour is an excellent person to work with.

I'm typing this on her former powerbook... she took incredible care of it. I'm sure the blackbook is as good as new.
