The new X-Plane version 7.00 was released today as a beta version. This is vey exciting for many flight sim lovers. This game is probably the best and the most accurate flight sim for both Macintosh and Windows.
It is featured at this site:

You can download the full flight sim from this site: (you can only use the joystick for 6 min without buying the cd)

not sure what you said, but there are currently over 2500 aircraft that you can download for X-Plane. A lot of them can be found here:

Sorry about the link, I fixed it. I was looking at some new Elite Force II screenshots and accidently pasted the wrong thing. EF2 looks like a sweet game.

I love flight sims, but kinda gave them up due to crappy joysticks. Can anyone point me to the latest and greatest in joystick technology?

Even though I use a Mac, I have a Logitech WingMan Strike Force 3D. It works really well even though there's no software for it. I got it on eBay for cheap. It has two hat swiches, a throttle, a wheel thingie that acts also as a button, and 6 other separate buttons. I find that it works very well for all the standard aircraft functions.
