Hi,

I thought I'd dig out my copy of Quake 3 to use on my iMac, now that I have a computer to run it flawlessly. The only problem is that the installer is for classic, and just copying the files from the CD and starting the universal application asks for the installed folder. Anything I can do?

David

Your stuck, welcome to Apples constantly changing world. Best bet is to chuck that game because you will end up running it in classic through emulation on OSX through more emulation through Rosetta on Intel. Go ahead and scream it will make you feel better.

That's why I kept my OS9 partition on the Cube handy (no, really, its only purpose is Q3 installations)

Find a friend with the PC version, then copy his stuff?
