I'm looking to sell this to get mahself a Macbook or if I'm lucky, a Pro. How much would I get for:

17" PowerBook
1GHz PPC G4 processor
1GB RAM
60GB HD
Airport Extreme and Bluetooth
Backlit keyboard
Excellent (near mint I guess) condition

Any other things you need to know? I need a price for this thing, hopefully I'd get a Macbook out of it.

IMO, I don't think it's worth enough to cover the cost of a MB. eBay gives you the best idea of what the market will pay. I just did a quick check and it looks like they go for around $800-$950ish.

I sold a similar setup, very similar, about 3-4 months ago, and after 2 listings on E-bay, that did not meet my minimum, I sold it on Craigslist for $900. Ebay peaked at around $750.

Well, I'm not really getting a NEW one, maybe one of the refurbs Apple sells for $950, or at amazon.com where they sell for exactly $1000 (no tax and free shipping). Either way I'll have enough from this PB, and if not, I will just throw in another few hundred for it.

What do you mean?

I'm going to weigh in too. I just bought a 17" powerbook, so I was watching prices like a hawk. I'd say a max of $950 to be had, closer to $900 though. To give you a barometer, I just got my 17" 1.5/80/512 with the upgraded radeon 9700 128 mb card for $1199. So assume 900-950 is fair. That ought to come close to covering a macbook.

Oddly enough, my last portable was a macbook, and now I'm on the 17" powerbook. The macbook's resolution wasn't as kind on my eyes, FWIW.
