So you're selling *2* PowerBooks? And they are both your wife's? Sounds fishy…

Why is it fishy? She had a 12" Powerbook that I destroyed the casing in trying to get a new hard drive installed... then instead of fixing it we got her a 1.67Ghz G4... and then yesterday she got a new Macbook Pro...
If you'll go back and read some of my posts.. I've bought a Mac Pro and a 24" iMac in the last 2 months as well.
Also, the serial numbers have been registered in my Wife's name with Apple... so... ?????

Hi... it is the hi res... I believe the hard disk is 80GB...
I am not sure what warranty it has left... Can that sort of thing be looked up via the serial number?

Umm, the hi resolution 15" PowerBooks shipped with a 100 GB HDD (5.400 rpm.). Unless you yourself downgraded to a 80 GB HDD, I believe it is 100 GB.
Just find out when you bought it, and depending on whether you got AppleCare or not, you can find out how much warranty's left.

Hmm, mine was purchased at the Apple store with a 80 gig as it came. The 100 gig was a extra upgrade, and I have the Last gen 1.67 also..

I am very sure they had 100 GB.
The 12" had an 80 GB, just as the black MacBook.
The 15" had a 100 GB, and the 17" had a 120 GB.
I looked at www.apple-history.com but they don't say anything about the harddrives, only that it's 120 GB, which was for the 17".

All I know is my PB (the very last revision) came with 80GB standard.
Even Apple History dot com reports it wrong.

i kinda feel that if someone shows as much intrest as i did for a laptop, someone should be a little more prompt with this laptop. it's only making me find cheaper similar laptops.
