Hey guys i have i have a really good conidtioned iMac G5 2.0 loaded out with 2 gigs of Ram + Apple Care. This machine has treated me well, no problems whatsoever i've never sent it in for the apple care which means i got a goodie and not one with bugs and fixes. I think when the 2.0 GHZ model came around they worked out all the kinks for these babies. If anything were to go out Apple Care is still covered till 9/08. Comes with standard wired Pro Keyboard and Mouse.. Also throwing in a 150$ iSight. Email me with any other questions. jmwest@mac.com

It's a feeler, everyone start making offers

I'm not interested, but with AppleCare probably $800 - $1,000.

Then ask 1100-1250?

Why are you putting a feeler out then if you already have a price in mind?

My mom bought this machine new in February for one dollar less than iGary's lowest price. Granted that was a very good deal, but it gives you something concrete to work from.

B/c this is a Feeler, I will say that you are unlikely to get $1,300 shipped for a previous generation (G5) iMac on Macrumors. People here are cheap, and value the newer Intel processors more. Now if it was an Intel Core Duo, I could *maybe* see you getting that here, but even at that, the Intel Core Duo iMacs go for around $1,300 on eBay...

edit: I see iMac G5 2.0/2 gb/250's going for $1,300 Buy it Now on eBay, and not even selling, so your asking price may be a bit high, just my $.02

Good point and I agree, since it is a feeler.

I got $1250 for my 2.1 G5 20" iMac with 2GB RAM/ AppleCare so this should be worth about $1000 to $1100 on the top end since it is an even older model. And to be honest, at $1250 I thought the guy paid a premium, at least as for what a new one costs.

I wasn't trying to "Try" anything. Nice "try" yourself. I actually PM'd the OP with advice. Read more carefully before you type and make sure you understand what you've read.

Nice try. Funny. Not.

Anyway, I think OP's price is very fair for Applecare and ram. Great machine.
