This is authentic, unopened, in the box RAM for Mac Pros. It's the 2GB (2x1gb) kit from Apple, part # MA685G/A. Retail is $700 on this kit. I'll sell for $500.

The story on this stuff is I work at a design firm which recently upgraded to a few Mac Pros (will fully upgrade once CS3 comes out). My boss gave me this surplus cause I told him I was getting one for personal use. It was a sort of performance bonus. Well, I ended up getting a 24" iMac, so I obviously have no use. There is no reciept for it, but it's totally unopened and of the 6 machines we upgraded, we've had no problems with faulty RAM. I understand there's an issue of trust here, I'm willing to post this as a BIN item on ebay if need be. I have great ebay feedback I can show you if you are interested as well.

Thanks, feel free to PM with questions.

I'd be careful of this guy. He could turn out to be fine...but this is his first post, and then he offers more than you're asking for = Highly suspicious.

You can think I'm shady, that's fine. I realize this is my first post, but I've been watched these forums for about a year now. I got a Mac Pro as a graduation gift about a month ago, and since I've been wanting to upgrade the RAM in it. This is a great deal, and I'm willing to pay more than his asking price to ensure that I get the product. I have a verified paypal account and I will pay in full today if it goes that way.

I posted a response and offer at the beginning and still have never heard anything...

As for "crapping" in someone else's thread. It comes down to this question.

What is a good deal?

The answer is, whatever the buyer and the seller negotiate that they both are happy with. This is a good deal. If a buyer is willing to pay more than market, that is there decision. If they are happy and the seller is happy, then they both got a good deal.

Sorry, I guess I should've posted pics in the first place.

Edit: I'll PM asencif, and then MovieCutter for right of first refusal.
