I can run WoW on my friends macbook, i can also run it on my Mac Pro with 6GB of RAM. You can change the settings in WoW so that it can run on slower systems. The better the video card, the more RAM you have and the more GHz you have would be you can run WoW better.

Steer clear of the GMA950. Its that simple if you enjoy gaming. Ati or Nvidia's stuff simply blows aways Intels cheapo graphics.

Either of the bottom two. The bottom is of course the best, but they'll be pretty close in performance.

The top one, the cheapest, will run it but not very well.

there are benchmarks on the WoW mac forums. You'd probably be better off running WoW under windows xp, but if you don't want to dual boot (totally understandable) you should do fine with either the 2nd or 3rd.

I used to play WoW on my 17" Powerbook (1.67ghz G4, Radeon 9800, 1GB RAM) and it was manageable, albeit pretty slow.

You DEFINITELY want at least 1GB RAM in whatever computer you get, preferably 1.5gb+. WoW hogs RAM, even on PCs.

I don't even know what those model numbers are (iMacs? Macbooks?).

If I were you, I'd get a Macbook to run WoW when you feel like playing at a friend's place or in class, and upgrade your PC (assuming you have one) to WoW specs, which shouldn't cost you much ($100 video card, $100 on RAM). I ended up playing WoW on my PC because it was at least 2-3x as fast as my Powerbook (2.0ghz Intel P4, 1gb RAM, Radeon 9800), with high settings.

Thanks for your input... And yes, those are the new imacs... you think i would be better off getting a standard macbook?
