Hi all,

I need some help. I downloaded the demo for WoW (the PPC version as I wasn't offered a UB option). After d/l'ing this 2 GB monster, I double-click the .dmg file and it creates a "drive" on my desktop and opens up the contents in a window. I double-click the file World of Warcraft (OS X).app and it doesn't do anything. I've rebooted and repaired permissions with no luck. Anyone have any ideas?

Did it have a Readme file? You may have to drag it to the Applications folder.

Is there a universal demo for WoW???:confused:

In order to get WoW to play you would have to move it to your applications folder. Launching it creates additional folders/files which cannot be written to the disk image.

The download is most likely PPC but you would have to update it (WoW will update when you try to login) and this will make it Universal.

therea demo for Wow? the only one iknowof is the free trial stuff released about a month ago or somethin like that
