This is a good editorial on Nintendo's pricing strategy for the next year. Thought you guys might want to see it.

i wouldnt doubt they will drop the price next year, or at the very least bundle Mario or Metroid with it. A 50-100$ drop in the 360 would make people forget about a fancy new controller real fast when Halo 3 trailers are being pumped non-stop at Bestbuy.

Well the Cube price was cut just before the Europe launch. Would be nice if they pulled a similar stunt again :D all those folks saving up money to have it sliced by £20-30, that's a game in itself!

Lowering the price by next christmas would be really soon to do so. Most consoles are out a year or two before a price drop. But Nintendo knows how to push their own accessories and could make up the difference there if need be. Still they would have to really be pressured to lower it so soon.
