WTB: Laptop mount arm.. thing..

Looking for something like what's circled in the image below.

It does not have to be the same exact item, or even the same design, just something that serves the same purpose.

By the same purpose, I mean something that keeps the laptop off the desk so I have more space in front of me for documents and whatnot, swivels around easily and effortlessly, etc. You get the idea.

Let me know if you have anything I might be interested in, or know a good place to get one for cheap. :)

looks like a fancy tv mount to me. Just find one for the dimension of your laptop and zip tie it down or something.

Those used to be pretty common monitor arms when CRTs were still popular, any decent office supply outlet should still carry them.

If you work in an office or know someone who does, you might hit up their IT or facilities department to see if they have old ones festering away in a closet somewhere.
