Hello-
I have a G4 Mac Mini that's the silent upgrade running at 1.5 Ghz that I'm looking to sell. It has 1.0Gigs of ram, 80 gig hard drive, bluetooth/airport extreme, superdrive, and 64v-ram. Has applecare till Dec 08. I could also sell the apple brand bluetooth wireless keyboard w/ it and also the bluetooth mighty mouse. Let me know what you think. Thanks again.

What are you looking to get for it?

i know this is just a feeler, but if you're looking to get rid of it, i'd give you $400/shipped. i think you could expect more offers like that on MR, ebay would obivously fetch more, but ebay is the way of the headache for most.

When did you purchase this? With Applecare it would be worth the given price.

thats why a ballpark figuire helps. throw out a number, and people will offer you what they would pay for it.

i don't know about a ballpark figure but i know that $400 shipped is quite a bit low.

on macnn marketplace, there is a 1.42/combo drive for $400 obo, and there is a 1.5/superdrive for $460/obo.
the extra two years would increase the value, but i'm still offering what i have to offer. you didn't offer a price. no big. you could probly make 600 on ebay. even for 500 on MacRumors, tho, it'd problably be a stretch unless someone really needed one, and you could get $400-450 from people [like me] who really just want one.
try to have SOME ballpark figure you want, and even if you say, hey i think it's worth 1000 bucks, someone would say, it's worth more around 500, ebay will get more.

You wont get anywhere near that, sorry.
$600 when you can get intel Core Duos for that price range....
its a huge speed difference from a G4 to a Dual Core....

Yeah, I'm sorry, but I'll have to agree. Don't forget the minis are on their second intel revision, so you're two 'generations' out. Why would someone pay $600 for a two-generation old, used mini when they could pay Apple $600 for a brand new unit? The core solo minis only go for $450ish on eBay, and those are newer than yours.
I know you have applecare, but I don't know.. if someone could buy a brand new unit for the same price as yours, they'd be getting a much faster machine and a year's time to buy extended applecare.

A ppc-based machine itself is going to be a hard sell since the future is with intel. Probably top out ~$450 forums price, and between $450-$10,000 on ebay.
