well traditionally, i think youd have to be british first. in terms of becoming an american mod, i recommend getting a fairly evenly cut, longish hair cut, start wearing tight clothes with colors that dont seem to match all that well, and get thick-rimmed glasses(preferably non-prescription)

Well, its effectively arn's decision. Why do you ask?

Spike Spiegel,

Cute. ;) It took me a second to figure out what the hell you were talkin' about.

Just curious. I didn't know if there were required standards (X amount of time as a member, X amount of time each day spent at MR, etc.,) that were required. And if there was an aplication process or if was a "you don't ask the Mods, the Mods ask you" kind of selection.

Never been a Mod on any site before so I'm just curious 'bout the process. :)

For example: a three day tournament of Triple Yatzee, or Scrabble mixed in with jelloshots and stoli...whoever can still spell their names forward and backwards without barfing gets the job...

I think its going to be here in DC in June - Weekend of June 14th and 15th. Right Eye?

You should make plans now! It'd be great to have a first ever international member....:D

Well, considering last year in New Orleans, it was you, me, my wife (DutchessStreet) and the Backtothemac familly, it can't be that hard to get more people. You're comitted, I'm going to be there with my wife ;), so its just a matter of getting some others interested. We'll have to start another thread in May to remind everyone.

Regardless it will be a lot of fun - plenty to do here, lots of good food.

I'm hoping to go, but now that Apple moved WWDC to June it might be difficult to make both events.

Getting to meet you would be a reason to think seriously about attending! ;)
