Hey, my backup drive in my Powermac just conked out, so I need to replace it right-quick. I'm looking for anything 300GB and up. It can be lightly used, as long as it's still under warranty. It also needs to be an IDE drive (unless you have a PCI SATA card you can give me with it!).

I don't have a lot of money, and outpost.com is selling a 300GB for $69.99 shipped, so keep that in mind. I'll go for that drive if there are no good offers here.

I don't think you'll get a better deal than that from anyone here. A new 300 gb for $70 shipped? Why even bother looking on here? I'd buy it yesterday ;)

This is true. I guess I'm hoping someone will have a drive they just pulled from a computer they don't need, or just a spare they don't need that they'd be willing to let go for less. If not, yeah, I'll be on the outpost.com drive like stink on... well, on me. I need to shower.

I'd really recommend going for that 300GB drive for $70, can't pass that up.

Yeah, I went ahead and ordered one of them for myself, though I wouldn't mind another one since I now have 2 x 300GB, and with 3 I could get a RAID 5 setup going. so I'm still open to offers, if anyone has one.

I'd just like to say that my drive came today, and it's actually a 320GB drive, which comes out to 298 when formatted. It's labeled as 300GB, and sold as such, but there's a little sticker that proclaims you get "20GB extra!". Thought somebody might care!
