Hey, if anyone has a core 2 duo MacBook Pro and a copy of Oblivion running on it, could you please let me know how it runs, perhaps post a few screenshots?
Thanks

I played it on my imac core duo 2ghz with the 256mb X1600

It ran on high for everything, with some of the extra shadowing options turned on (including HDR) and at 1280x768 and it was very good.

No anti-aliasing of course.

Framerate held up very well and it looked great (just slightly inferior to my xbox 360 version) but the loading times were far better than the 360 in the outside areas.

I did overclock the X1600 though.

Should be grand in your lovely mac book pro.

Just out of curiosity, what'd you overclock your X1600 to?

The imac graphic card is a lot better than the macbook pro's card.
The macbook pro has a x1600 mobility which is about as powerful as a 9800 pro, so i tried oblivion and it's possible to play in 1440 by 900 but in lowest seeting (to be playable in outdoor environnement). With lowest seeting the game is perfectly fluid.

This is a rather old topic… and the question was answered… oh well.

And the iMac and the MBP have the same graphics card.
