I had to guess on the processor, as it's his main machine so I won't have it until he gets the Macbook Pro he's planning on picking up. It was one of the last G4s they made, so I'm going to guess that it is a 1.67 (I'll edit above when I know for sure).
I can do pics, let me know what you want pics of.

That's not definitely for sale, but it is possibly. I don't know base prices either, which is why the feeler bit is part of the post, but I would guess it's in the $1000 range?

You quoted the other guy $1000 for a dual 2.0ghz G5, but $300 is below market for an iBook 1ghz?!

i think he ment that it was in the 1000+ range. i agree that a g4 ibook is worth more... 400-500. its a 14 in too. and theres a lot of ram.

I highly recommend disconap as a seller. He sold me a processor upgrade last week and it was sent quick and with a lot of care. He also answered all of my questions.
Good luck with your sales Todd.

To be honest, I have no idea the value of the G5, every machine I own, maintain, and keep up with values on are G3s and G4s. The G5/Intel world is a strange hoge-podge of PC parts that I am unfamiliar with. But yeah, I expect that the G5, being a dual 2.0gHz, can probably fetch in the $1300-1600+ range, considering refurbs still go for $1499 for single 2.0.
On the ibook, Apple sells a refurb of the 1.42 with similar specs for $1000, so I think $500-600 is reasonable for mine as well. And again, not really sure I want to get rid of it.
EDIT: And to clarify this whole post, here is the deal. I run my office on the Dual G4 in my sig, and I run some audio hardware on the b/w G3(4), we have two imacs for interns to use, and I have the ibook at home. My roommate/our designer has the dual G5 and the Powerbook G4. The goal here is for him to end up with a top end MacBook Pro, and for me to either upgrade or end up with cash. So not everything will end up for sale.

They never made single 2.0 G5's...not even the iMac G5's had a 2.0....

And some older stuff I might want to clean out one or two of:
G3 b/w, 550mHz G4, 1gb RAM, 2 X 10gb
G3 Imac, 400mHz, 684mb RAM, 10g
G3 imac, 333mHz, 288mb RAM, 6g
I might be interested in any of these if the price is right. If you have a price in mind please PM so we might work something out.

Sorry, it's starting to look like the Sawtooth will be kept, as I don't think I'll be able to accomplish this sale in a good enough way to get the Macbook Pro my friend wants and keep his G5. So the G5 is now officially on the market, as is the Powerbook.
In fact, I'll just revise the whole darned thread.

Not a problem :). I forgot to ask though- does it come with OSX Tiger, ideally install disks as well? If so my offer would be $600.

Sawtooth and B/W are both now confirmed for sale, but only OR the G5; i.e., either both will be for sale or the G5 will. I will part them out for the right prices/parts, depending on offers. I still have the OEM parts, so if I part them out then the machines themselves will still be available. Serious offers only, please.

Depending on the price with and without I was going to decide. I don't really need the G4 ZIF and if it would make the B&W cheaper i would be more then happy to let you have the G4 ZIF and have disconap put the older G3 back in.

Unfortunately, the clamshell still has not been delivered, so I have to assume that we won't be receiving it. Sorry, I'll remove it from the front page. But PM me a list of parts you may need, I might have them (if they are swappable with the dual USB ibooks).
