It's this one here that is sold on OWC for $300: http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Sonnet%20Technology/EG410001MU/
Comes with the CPU, a new power cable right from Sonnet, a diagram of jumper block settings and an instruction/installation manual.
I bought this on these forums from im_to_hyper, and he guaranteed it will work. I haven't had the chance to work with this yet, and looks like it may be awhile, so I'm thinking selling it may be the best option.
Anyone interested to make their old G3/G4 a new blazing fast machine?
PM or post advice/offers.
Thanks
- Ryan
EDIT: Now on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=013&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&viewitem=&item=230047877230&rd=1&rd=1)

I would remind potential buyers that this upgrade throttles your bus to 66MHz, rather than the 100MHz the machine is capable of. No offense to the seller, but the G4 upgrade is not as good of an option as a 1.1GHz G3.

Well don't forget you can't run half of iLife and quite a few applications without a G4 processor.

I'm Interested. But how much are you looking for? I paid less than $125 for my B&W, I don't see any reason to pay more for the processor for it. Would you take $50? I know it seems low. But it says you need OS 9 for it and that seems like a lot of extra work.

$80 was the cost of like a 500MHz G4 on Ebay -- this one sells $300 new. The work isn't too much, especially since he has the jumper config. and power adapter needed ready to go for you
The asking price is reasonable and is a decent, firm price from Ryan.
EDIT: Which I guess isn't here. More than $50, for sho.

Sorry, $50 isn't even close.

Also, all you need is an OS 9 disc to update the firmware. No big deal.

There is no asking price.
Well, let me know what you want for it. I dont have OS 9 or this power adaptor crap.... seems like a lot of work.

Did you read the initial post. I said it comes with the power adapter.

Which is a good reason to buy - I have nothing against the chip, I just thought they should be aware.
