Hey, here's a question. I am going to London very soon and I would like to charge my ipod and use my laptop. Would this plug work for both? I was going to get one tomorrow, but if you have one then I'd totally take it. I just don't want to blow out my powerbook or my ipod.

Do you have a link, specs, or photo for the ibook adapter? I wasn't aware they made one that worked through the headphone jack...

Yep. The plug adaptor works for both. I use the plug off my iPod charger on the power brick for my iBook.

It is not a cable, it is the Firewire PowerBrick.

I will take the EU plug...I assume that is what I need for London? Is it really $5 to sell and $5 to ship? Will it be to me sometime next week?
PM me with your paypal details.

You would need the UK plug for London. However, there is a sale of that one pending.

Hi, you haven't replied to me about the UK plug. Sent you a pm yesterday.

Wasn't I the first to respond to the plug? "I'd totally take it" seems like a rather solid offer as long as it fit my needs.

Yep. The plug adaptor works for both. I use the plug off my iPod charger on the power brick for my iBook.

I don't know if you are describing something else but the direct plug adapter is slightly different between iPods and iBooks/MacBooks/Powerbooks. The kettle lead connection on the brick has 2 projections, one on either side, whilst the ones for the Macs have only 1 projection on one side. For this reason the plastic plug adapter from the iPods does not work on the brick of the iBook/Powerbook/MacBook.

The "Duckend" adapters (as Apple calls them) will work with any Apple White brick, be it PowerBook/iBook, MacBook[Pro], or AirPort Express. The two notches in some bricks is to prevent the use of grounded plugs in adapters with out grounding capability (i.e. 65w power supplies, or iPod Power suppliess), therefore you can use the non-grounded (or two notch) plugs on groundable adapters.

Also, in fairness, Jessica did respond about the adapter first, but for some reason I did not notice her post until her later question.

So to clarify... The UK plug adapter is gone.
