Looking for a pIII era/speed laptop for around $200. LMK what you've got (manufacturer, battery life, RAM, wifi, hd size, etc). Thanks!

I bought this in Sept 2005, was used primarily for folding@home. Downside is that battery life is about 1.5-2hrs.
It has been into warranty service once, due to a faulty screen flickering and flashing green on bootup. I also just received a notice from a class-action settlement extending the warranty for another 12 months. :)

FYI, I'm using an IBM T23 i got off eBay about 6 months ago and It works great. I'd suggest looking into a Thinkpad, because not only do they have cool features like keyboard lights and stuff, they're really durable.
you could get a T20-T22 for about 200-250 on eBay, maybe less if one comes up on craigslist.
Good luck

Yeah, I hear that a lot about thinkpads - people who are fans are BIG fans. Maybe it's really apple's venture into pc-land LOL!
