I know the title sounds like a scam, but according to ars (http://arstechnica.com/journals/thumbs.ars/2006/11/16/5983) amazon is most likely going to sell about 1000 XBox 360 core systems for $100 bucks next thursday. I know it's a core, but I'm tempted (and stupid for posting it here :D ).

tch, who needs that when Ireland are basically giving you 4-5 Xbox games ontop of what would be a regular 360 with controller.

It's somewhere at 74%, with no competition. I think the odds are rather good.

I already said I was stupid for posting, and besides I think enough people saw it at Ars that I doubt the few people here that are interested will make a big difference.

You weren't stupid for posting, as it needed votes in order to win. Think of it as campaigning. Anyway, knowing the amount I already spend on my computer and 360, I voted for the Mongoose Bike. I need to get into shape, haha.

Hmmm... what I've just noticed could get some attention... the items will only ship to addresses in the us, "none of the candidate items ships internationally". However, [i]it doesn't say non US residents can't order one to a US address[i]. You can pay with any credit card you want, Amazon just won't deliver it to an address outside of the states so if you know someone who lives in America then there's no reason not to give it a go!
Having said that, I'll probably forget.

I saw this earlier and voted for the 360 even though I already have one. I am going to try and get my hands on one. It would be nice knowing I have a backup in case mine dies and I can then setup a LAN network in my house for playing games.

I'm goin' to be waitin' for this, Xbox is winning by a landslide. I'd probably sell it on eBay and then buy the premium, that's if I get it. I wonder what the odds are.

$100 for an Xbox 360, $250 for a Wii, or $500 for a PS3?
Awesome. Simply awesome. :)
