Wii not getting Wii Shopping Channel

As the title says...I've used it to day(downloaded 2 games) but now its giving me

Error Code: 209601
Unable to connect to server.....Please wait a moment and try again(waited and try atleast 5 time


Any ideas?

well that sucks, I wanna get Mario 64.

Anyone have it? I got the classic controller and I would love to hear some thoughts on it.

Working now....took it down stairs to play with and it worked...bought Mario 64!!

I haven't been able to get the shopping channel working all evening. I had it up earlier but didn't buy anything since my fiance wanted to play Wii Sports. Now I'm trying to grab Mario 64 and I get a mix of the 'Cannot Connect to Server' message and the loading screen just sitting there.

Maybe they are just flooded right now.

I bought two games so far from the VC -- Mario Bros and Super Mario 64

Mario Bros - I regret purchasing this game because I thought it was Super Mario Bros...I didn't realize it was the mini battle game found in Mario 3 :mad:

Super Mario 64 - Direct port of the original classic... I bought the classic controller and there will be a learning curve to master the controls...but once I get it down it will be all good from there...

I really wish they released Link to the Past today...any word on the release of future VC games? I heard every monday but I don't know

i guess the servers where kinda surprised when suddenly hundred thousands wiis went online and tried connecting to them ..that's why i guess that the updates took long in some points
