What concept cars are you anxious to see in dealer showrooms?
I'm hoping to see the 2005 Dodge Magnum Wagon and the Mazda MX Sport Tourer. Great takeoffs on the station wagon.
Droolingly good vehicles coming in the next few years.
Interestingly enough, GM seems to be asleep at the wheel when it comes to concept cars.

I was at the NYC car show... I was really pissed,

All of the concept cars have 20" wheels or HIGHER!
They are gonna be like $300 a pop!

Hehe - they just do that for most of the show cars to make them look cooler. It doesn't mean that'll be standard if they actually go to production.

I'm REALLY excited about the 2004 GTO, and if Pontiac releases the Solstice (which I think I heard they would), I'll die happy. One of those two is going to be my next vehicle.

The Chevy SSR is super-cool, but I'm pretty sure it's out of my price range, since it's limited production.

I was talking to one of their guys,
'how does it run?'
'it doesn't'
'why not'
'well, because of the 20" tires... it would have many problems on the road'
'so, why not get smaller tiers?'
'uhhhhh, because that is what people want, Big cars with useless features'

Tis' true MrMacMan. Most vehicle purchases are based on emotion rather than common sense. Oh well.
Myself, I'd just like a sensible new Mazda Protege ES with a 5-speed. That'd do me just fine.

bah, this is the first time i've failed to get to the NY motorshow in the 4 and a half years I've been here. :( gutted.

anyone take any pics???

i don't understand why that guy said "it doesn't run" because of the 20" wheels. why wouldn't it? generally, bigger wheels promotes better handling as there is less tyre wall (assuming it's running on low profiles, which it shoul at that size) to scrub. big wheels tend to look better than big tyres, but they do also serve a purpose (for some).

you would think i'm a huge ford fan (i'm not) but I just love these two concepts....the new mustang and gt40. Though I'd prefere the originals. I've never liked the newer mustangs for ages but this one looks pretty nice.

This may be a little off subject but I just found an article saying that Ford is going to stop making the ThunderBird.
