You're going to have to specify a bit more there. What platform are you talking about, a specific console, Mac or PC?

For Wii, Zelda: TP. For PS3 & XBox I don't know. For Windows I'd say Half Life 2 for your first play through and for Max I'd say Quake 4. If that's not your style then the Sims 2 for Mac or PC is pretty damned good.

Nah ;) I know pretty much everyone prefers Sonic 3 & Knuckles but the music, the level design was a perfect example of where Sonic was going... straight to the GBA with them lacklustre titles. Sonic 2 felt like a massive improvement on 1, 3 not so much. I know I'm alone and am about to be shot to pieces :D Though Sonic 1's soundtrack is the main power source of heaven and everyones dreams.

I would say it is still Counter-Strike. With still thousands of people playing at any point of time, and thousands of servers to support them. And mind you, this is a game that was released in 1999 and has been constantly been tweaked and more content added, this is by far the best game. Of course this is PC gaming though :p


Of course I might be a biased player because I have been playing since 2000 :P



A few more I would like to nominate is Gears of War and Oblivion!

FFXII, *happy sigh* I missed a fun FF game and now I have it. Oh, or Lumines II, my thumbs are in pain from playing it all day (screw Econ class...)

Gears is already collecting dust as my lazy friends won't buy it so online co-op is out and single player Gears is "meh" after you beat it. Wii Sports was a blast for a day, now it's okay I suppose. Zelda is good, but the controls are actually a teeny bit irrating at times and sadly it doesn't feel all that different from OoT which I just beat a few weeks ago so I'm kinda Zelda'd out.
