Hi guys. I have been getting a few PMs lately from people asking if my KDX server is still up.

Yes, it is. This is the IP. There is no login/password.

Come check it out. I have like doubled my movies list :D

Its a KDX server, not a web server...
Use KDX, connect:

my server got shut down...i opened up the access completely with no DL caps and no passwords for this past weekend. got an email today from the network admin telling me that they noticed 45GBs of output from my computer in 24 hours. they made me shut it down.

next time put a cap on it man, or open it up slowly... like 1/2 GB a day and then make it bigger progressivly, my friend did that and they had no problem...

hey can you help me out.....

i just downloaded kdx client and i dont know what to do from there..... I go to connect and a name, address, login and password come up. what do i put in the fields to connect?

normally you want to put the IP address in address and if you get an account (login/pass) for someplace than you can start to download, but it looks like aztecs server is down right now... :rolleyes:

search for KDX tracker on google...go from there

also this site (http://www.d72.nl/) gives some good beginners info

yah i was restricting it to users only, but i just wanted to see what would happen if i opened it up...this university has a really nice connection and the average download speed from me was around 100Kbps...seeing as they are probably watching me now to see what activity is going on i'm not turning it back on for at least a week.

hey i must be stupid or somethin..... i went to trackers, found a bunch of stuff, but when i click on the item, all i get is this legal crap. what do i do from there to connect? thanks

Well basically after you connect you want to go to files... and see if there is stuff you like, usually they want you to upload stuff they don't have ext... after you upload stuff you are able to download unless there is a no user/pass needed than you can download untill the bandwitch runs dry (:eek: )
