17" powerbook sound?

Ok, there is a weird little staticy buzz that I keep hearing, it's not the fan. It's really not looud at all but I don't recall hearing it at all before, but I could be wrong.
Also, it wouldn't wake up from sleep earlier today, so I had to force it to restart.

Has anyone else experienced any of these things with their 17" PB, or if you know what to do, could you help me out?

well, i can't say that i have had any problems like that (even thought i've got a TiBook:p ) i would recommend that you take it back to your store and get them to have a look at it. could be some sort of but from manufacturing - the 17" are a new model, these things happen sometimes.

Sounds: see my reply in other thread.

Sleep problem: yeah it happened once the other day where my system was on but the screen wouldn't boot, so I had to reboot the system. I also had this problem on my G4/500, so it must be a bug in OS X.

i am thinking it's just the harddrive..since I it sounds louder when I put my ear right up to the computer.
