Post your DynDNS hostname for shared iTunes library

Following on from this thread (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25590), please use this thread to post your Dynamic DNS (http://www.dyndns.org) hostnames for people to connect to your shared iTunes library.

The idea is to have this as a thread you can come to when you fancy listening to something different. IP's from the other thread will change, DynDNS hostnames will not. I think it will be cool to be able to come here, grab a hostname and listen to some new music!

Please don't use this thread for discussion, just post your DynDNS hostname to your shared librarys :)

That's fine, so long as it won't change. As I keep saying, the idea of this thread is to post an address that will never change (for most a DynDNS name), but if you have a staic T1 (U lucky sod!) fair enough.

Since no one else has suggested it and I'm sure a few of you haven't thought of it you can create a folder titled something like Music Servers and put it in your dock. Then when you get a new address simply drag and drop it into the folder. Soon you will have a folder full of music servers.

My server is the same thing. But use macaztek.no-ip.com:6545 for my server (KDX).

Yea... and my brothers is in the other thread, right under mine. It has like 5 times more music then my server, might wanna check it out.

I just wrote up an app, ServerStore, for all of us to use if you want it. You can publish your address in the app so that other mac users can see it.

Sounds great, I can't wait to try it when I get home. Can I recommend that you post a thread for this in the new app announcement forum so that discussion about it can take place there rather than here, also it will get more exposure in its own thread.

If your accessing someone who is behind a router/firewall you need to add the port number, mine is daap://81.105.72.39:3689 where :3689 is the port.
