I'm thinking about getting an older iBook G3 to bring to school and carry around. I don't like bringing my MacBook to school because I have to keep it in my locker and I think it'll get stolen or something. A cheaper notebook I wouldn't worry about as much.

I'm ideally looking at a 12" iBook G3 500Mhz, as those would be the cheapest. However, I will consider higher than 500mhz models as well.

As for specs and condition, beat up is fine, as long as it works. If the optical drive is dead or something but it still works that's fine. I don't care about RAM or Hard Drive, I can upgrade those.

Let me know what you have,
Ryan

Thanks! I would rather get one from somewhere on here though, instead of from a company.

Sounds good techound, sent you a PM.

I would like to add that I will consider clamshell iBooks as well, but would really prefer a dual usb.

Just an FYI, I checked ebay and there are few that would meet your needs for $200 or less. :)
