Mac OS X Question...

I'm on the verge of buying a mac...
1 Question,

I pirate and download alot of music and movies illegally, (i also buy alot from iTunes,)

Since there's no viruses on Macs,,

I won't get any crap from downloading from let's say LimeWire & all that good stuff right?!?, (adware, spyware, viruses etc..)

please say yea, cuz my PC is filled with crap and i think it's from downloading stuff.

yes, you won't get any of that stuff. I wouldn't use limewire though. There is much better stuff for the mac. I have heard of a few cases where people "think" limewire messed up some disk permissions, but all you have to do is go to disk utility and repair permissions, so no biggy. But yeah you won't get any of that crap on os x.

If you download anything that runs (apps, widgets, etc.) from places like that, none of the claims about OS X security apply, because, well, you're willingly installing stuff when you don't really know what it is or where it came from.
