might you have the dvi-to-vga adapter dongle for this board? what system did this come from...i am assuming, of course, it came out of an older mac system and not an intel box.

thanks in advance.

why would you need a dvi to vga connector if it already has vga out

Quite simple. The Radeon 8500 is a dual-head card (so you can run two monitors in parallel from it). Quite a good one for a Sawtooth G4, at that--it's the only AGP 2x compliant card that is both dual-head and does not have an ADC port--thus being the only fully functional dual head card for a Sawtooth (to my knowledge...the very rare Geforce 3 may have been like this as well, I can't remember)...

to mac1995: No I dont have the dongle, but they are not hard to find at most computer shops.

And YES it is a real mac card, not a flashyhopeitwillwork peecee one, and YES it came out of my sawtooth :p

to nate13: sysiphus is correct in his statement...... IF you wanted to run 2 VGA-only monitors (CRT's or early/cheap LCD's) this would be THE card to have for a Sawtooth, Gigabit Ethernet or DA model......
