I bought one of the iCurves from Griffin Tech. Kinda nice but it looks like the mold was messed up because the one side is higher then the other causing my iBook to have an iTilt.....

I feel kinda iRipped...

Oh well..Live and learn..

Bad luck man. I got an iCurve and I'm very happy with it. I paid $26.00 for it after pirce matching a cheap crappy place to J and R (no tax in because they are in NY) and my 12" is even and beautiful looking on top. Call griffin, I'm sure they can work something out with you, I've had good luck with their customer service

Well...I sent them an EMai.l. Lets see what happens.

It works out the on the left side at the highest point its 6 1/8 high . The right side at the highest point its 5 13/16. Doesnt sound like much but man it really is starting to annoy me.

That's almost a quarter inch! Not too small when you expect something to be perfectly straight.

Thats one of the major reasons I purchased a podium instead of an iCurve. I noticed this on the Griffin webpage and thought to myself that would annoy the hell out of me if my PB's side was uneven

Its a pretty noticable tilt. I haven't heard from them yet....

mine doesn't show a noticeable tilt. if yours does, bug the hell out of Griffin until they get you one that isn't defective.

yeah, thats over 1/4" which is quite noticeable to most people. esp the types of people who are always rearranging the art on the wall because its not straight.

Even without rearrangeing the art on your walls, 1/4" tilt would be annoying as h..l if you had to stare at a screen tilted like that for multiple hours a day. Even if you can't imagine that being a problem, appreciate his situation.

Plus, warez are illegal. You go to jail and get big ass fines for that.
*edit* I'm a big idiot. But it was a creative idea. *edit*

Hehe, you do understand what 127.0.0.1 is? It's a loop back. Type it into your machine, if you have file sharing enabled then you'll get your own FTP site. Download your own programs there.

It is some good free warez if you already have the software.

Sry, I'm on a PC. I did kinda figure that you wouldn't be stupid enough to post a link to warez. Oh well, my embarrasing moment of the day.

It should work on a PC too, but you need to have an FTP server running.

Well, that would explain why I didn't get it.
