Oblivion on my 24" iMac

I have the 2.33Ghz, 7600GT, and 2 gigs of RAM. I loaded XP last night, which was incredibly easy with Boot camp. Oblivion installed with no issues. It detected High Graphics and autoset the graphics levels. The game played flawlessly. Even the outside areas were smooth. I only had time to get out of the first dungeon and run around outside a bit but I assume my MAC will handle this game fine. Over all I am extremely pleased with my first MAC purchase. Everything seems to be so darn easy on a MAC.

Well, Oblivion is certainly a leap foward in rpg games and really, its awesome. I recommend you visit http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/ to get the top mods.

I hate bringing up 2 month old threads but I didn't want to start a new thread. What settings are you guys using on your Macs when running Oblivion?

I have the same configuration as the OP except I have the 2.16GHz CPU. I have been running with no AA and at 1280x800 with most everything else set to high except for reflections and ripples. It rarely stutters with these settings but you do lose some of the experience, I feel.
