If you google search "schubertit" their plug in opens pdf's on your desktop. Much easier to view some of the brilliant but large desktop photos posted in this thread. And if you want to keep the pdf on your mac, then you just download it as normal.

It comes with 10 nature. Most of them are quite nice. I don't believe the Rainier photo is actually part of the original photos. It was actually one from an advertisement apple did. You know how they put certain photos on the screen for an ad.

No one can post an image larger the 102400bytes. It's not just you. Jpeg compression does it quite nicely. Get Graphic Converter (http://www.lemkesoft.com/us_gcabout.html).

My only problem was that they didn't have many at 1440 x 900 which is my iMac's resolution. Although, sometimes its better to download a huge one and crop it how you want it. That's pretty cool your dad doing that. The desktop is actually a picture of the Space Battleship Yamato, or Argo, depending on whether you watched the Japanese or American version. The series is called Starblazers. I loved this series when I was a kid.(20+ years ago). Go to starblazers.com if you want to find out more. I attached another desktop to give you a better look at the ship.
Edit: I had to lower the quality of the image because it was too big.

It's freaky how many Japanese shows all looked the same durring that time frame. I mean not only does the ship look either very very similar to the on on Robotech but so do the lead characters. The only thing missing are the actual Robotechs.

wow, her breasts actually look fairly normally-sized there.
I think you need to re-evaluate the movie. She doesn't have very big breasts unless they use some sort of amazing braw. Though with the amount of training they have put her through for the second movie there is a strong possibility that her cup size probably went down without artificial inflation.

i'm pretty certain that her breasts were enlarged by some means of artifice in that first one. but i don't even go for very large breasts... that's your department, eh? :p

Well not really. I prefer them to be proportionate with the body along with having a certain amount of natural support. In other words small breasts work well on small women and larger on larger woman though I don't like them saggy though they're all headed there with age.

hehe, those were just some janet jackson and christina agquilera album art for iTunes. (i get my album are from windowsmedia.com 12k @)
I view the desktop as pro autonomy. The barcode, faceless, kind of melancholoy. Struggling against big brother, struggling for individuality.

No, just an abstract. Actually I have a print of the Simpsons. A parody of the Sopranos. I've been thinking about trying to turn it into desktop wallpaper.

You should give it a try. I would be interested to seeing it posted on the Forum! ;)

Okay time to wow everyone with my home made desktops from pictures I took.
Here's on I took on my trip to San Francisco in March.

Here's one I took specifically thinking it would make a nice desktop. This was taken a couple weeks ago when I was out in the Eastern Oregon visiting my mom.
Sorry I had to shrink it greatly since the original photo contains so much varying color and detail that I would have had to compress it to 17% of original in Jpeg without resizing it.

Thanks, I have two different Iris photos and I would be happy to give you the originals if you would like. The only problem with the second one is that it is centered in the photo which makes it distracting as a desktop.

I feel sorry for that cat! The only positive that I find is that it's mucousa is still pink. The eye looks glassed over! Does cat nip look alot like marijuana? :(

Come on people Catnip is just an herb that you can grow in your garden. It's a lot like oregano.
Here's a page explaining why it does what it does.

Here's a page explaining about the herb itself.

You can get a very similar effect with a cat without cat nip. Just do the following. Find a cat that trusts you and likes to wrestle. Fine a slick linoleum or wood floor. Hook your hand under the rear legs of the cat as it lies on it's side. Proceed to spin the cat in circles as fast as possible. They're really quite well balanced and can achieve incredible rates of spin. Continue this for 5 seconds or so and release. Now you can see what it's like to have a cat on drugs. He will proceed to wave his head in circles and stumble and fall and when they do get a good footing sprint head long into solid objects. It really can be quite humorous and some cats for some reason even seem to enjoy it coming back for more.

That might be a camera issue on the eyes there. I've played with catnip and my cats before and it truly is fun to watch them.
One time when we were growing it in the backyard I grabbed a handful of leaves, crushed them up in my hands and then rubbed them all over the dog :D The dog didn't really mind all that much, but the cats went nuts. One was rubbing up against her while she was laying down and the other (who doesn't get along with the dog at all) followed her around for a while.

Yeah, they kinda lauth at it. The IT guy thinks it's kinda funny, in a slightly negative way, I suspect. Oh well, I'm proud of my computing history. And I won't be brainwashed by the Dark Side, not even if Bill or Steve (Ballmer, of course, not our Messi...er...favourite CEO) was my father!

Roger1 you've just jogged my memory from when I was 7 years old back in 1980!!!
StarBlazers
We're off to outerspace,
We're leaving mother Earth
To save the Human Race .....
Our StarBlazers....!
Searching for a distant star
Heading off to Iscandar
Leaving all we left behind
Who knows what danger we'll find...
Our home we got to save,
If we dont in just one year,
Mother Earth will dis--a--pear!
Call out the Fire & Smoke,
We will never give up hope,
If we can win the Earth will survive
We'll keep peace alive with our StarBlazers!
Heehehee.

Yeah, I loved that cartoon. Last year I bought a couple of videos of theirs. I think they are episode, 2-4 of travel to Iscandar, and episode 1-3 of the Comet Empire. I tell you what, that song sounds really good coming through my six speaker sound system! :D
Hmm. Fathers day is coming up. Do I see another Starblazers video in my future???:D
