My dad wants a controller to play war games on his mac. I dont play computer games at all, so I don't have any idea of what the best type of controller to get is. He plays war games, like Battlefield and other games like. Any suggestions? How do I tell if a controller is compatible with the game?

Thanks

For first person shooters like battlefield, the mouse and keyboard are the best controls by far. If he is more comfortable with a controller i would suggest picking up an xbox360 wired controller that you can plug in via usb. You can download the software necessary at versiontracker.com.

I second that motion. I picked up a wired 360 controller to play games on my macbook pro. Plus, if you have a 360 it can always be a spare controller.
