Disinterested party, here, but depending on how long you've had your Pearl, you may be able to get an unlock code from T-mobile and unlock it... then it would work on any GSM service on the compatible bands.... Try selling it on BlackBerryForums.com, you should have better luck. BTW, why are you selling the 8100? Just curious cause I have one too...

So if the phone is unlocked no matter what service carrier it comes from you can go to any other carrier and have your number switched over?

That will only work on gsm networks because they support sim cards unlike verizon. So if its unlocked it will work with t-mobile and cingular.

Never user blackberryforums.com and thus don't have any seller history there... don't know how well it would sell.

It will sell quick. Don't really need seller history over there, just post up eBay/Heat feedback and you're good.

Alright, I suppose I could try and sell it there. Hopefully someone on MR will buy it however.
