Help with UT2K4 mod installations, please!

Hello, I've never messed around with mods for UT before and now that I have found a few I'd like to try I can't get them to show up.

I know I must be missing a simple step that I don't know about. I've looked in the manual as well online and in setup installations but no dice.

They all say just to copy the folder into the UT2K4 folder and it will show up under Community > User Mods, but they don't show.

Do I have to modify some ini file or something? Any help would be appreciated.

So I downloaded UTModLauncher and that seems to be working great! I wasn't installing them wrong, there is just a special method to launching them evidently.

Hopefully that helps someone else with the same problems :)

Some mods do come with the launcher for Mac OS X.
