My mom is sortof on the market for a digital camera. A 3-4 meg res would be nice.

We're also wanting to try and use the camera as a cheap video recording device with a gig memory card if possible.

Thanks.

well if shes looking for a camera that would take some sweet photos... id sell my powershot g5. ive got a 256 card and a 32, but the real kicker is the lense attachment thing, with a wide angle and a uv filter. its a 5mp btw, and the higher quality lense make an awesome pic. i bought it for 500 like 2 1/2 years ago with all the stuff, so like 300?

Thanks for the offer, but I'm afraid that out of her price range (and mine) and has too much "power". Know what I'm saying? ;)

If you're looking for something more compact, I have a Canon SD10 that I may be willing to part with. 4mp and tiny. I have box, manuals, charger, etc. I'll put a stock photo and if you're interested I can track down another camera to take a picture of my SD10.

I've got a 5 megapixel Konica Minolta G500.. really fast startup time, has dual memory card slots for SD and Sony Memory Stick... and a rechargeable battery.

I'd sell it for $70 shipped.

Check out a vid sample HERE (http://www.gemcitybrewing.com/6.AVI). I'm not sure if these are the highest settings or not... but with the two memory slots you can shoot a LOT of footage. It's pretty good quality.

I've got a 128mb SD card I'll throw in also.

If I were showing an example, I probably would have taken a non blurry picture.

You're full of worthless criticisms aren't you?

It's a shame its a WTB thread... I turned the camera on and the battery was low.. I snapped one picture really quick because I didnt want to have to go downstairs and grab the charger... this was the result.

Sure the photo is a little blurry, but if I'd kicked it in macro mode (my original thought) it wouldn't have been... I think the skull came out quite well in fact. The colors look good, its sharp in the background... besides the X is cool even if it is blurry.

No, I think it autofocused on the pen cup... but I didn't hit macro. It was really late.. I was up way past my bedtime, not real sure.

I got the payment, I'll ship it tomorrow. By the way.. the charger IS included.

Thanks Alex!
