Sold on 12/21/08, thanks! :)

My cousin gave me his Creative Zen Vision M 30gb media player during the holiday to see what I could get for it. Since he got a new media player he no longer needs this one. He's been using the player for a while and I've seen it in action so I know it works. The problem is the screen on the player is now cracked. This makes it impossible to view anything on the screen. This device plays videos and audio files and is only compatible with Windows computers.

I'm not an expert on this device so I don't know too much about it. I can assume the battery probably doesn't hold the same charge as it used to since it's been used so I wouldn't expect the full charge time listed on Creative's site. But if your looking for parts for this model or think you can buy a screen and install it yourself this may be what your looking for.

If sold I will try my best to delete all personal audio/video files and information on the unit, this may be difficult with the cracked screen but, I'll try my best.

The player is being sold as-is since I can not test it (although when I plugged in the power cord the screen lit up), so this is just for parts.

What's included:
Creative Zen Vision M 30gb player (cracked screen)
Sync Adapter (Dock-like connector to USB, Power, A/V out)
AC Power Adapter (US)
USB 2.0 Transfer/Sync cable
Windows Install CD-ROM
Product Manual & Product Information Guide
Pouch-like carrying case

Specs and Information can be found on Creative's Web Site (http://www.creative.com/products/product.asp?category=213&subcategory=214&product=14331)

I'm just seeing what I can get for this for my cousin. If a good enough offer comes along I may take it but, for now it's just a feeler so I'd appreciate any suggestions or comments.

Thanks :)

Thanks, If my cousin doesn't like the price I get here I can always put it on eBay and see what happens. I see that on Amazon they're going for about $200 new. I don't know how much the cables are worth but he said he had to buy the AC adapter separately. So maybe that adds a little value to this :p :)

It's only value at this point is for parts or, I suppose, as a portable hard drive. $40ish would be about the maximum. Perhaps a little more, if you were able to time the sale right.
