Hey everyone, I got a broken 4GB 2nd Gen iPod Mini (silver) up for grabs on eBay right now, with a starting bid of just 99 cents. It gives me the sad iPod face, which leads me to believe the problem is the hard drive. If anyone is interested, it's here:

Just thought I'd give ya'll a heads up.

If anyone buys this, at my store, we have Microdrives in little USB cases on clearance, so you could easily replace the HD and get it back up and running.

Livingfortoday is an awesome seller too. :)

Thanks! I'm not 100% it is the hard drive, but as it powers up, charges, but does not mount and just gives me that face, I'm 99% sure that's what it is.

How much are they? If it's not too high I could try to get this iPod and a new hard drive for it...

Its like 50 for a 4GB, 60 for the 6GB, or 80 for the 8GB.

Ooh, an 8GB iPod Mini :D ...Now, it goes INSIDE the mini right, not like an external drive that attaches to it?
