Is your Wii warm?

When 'off' (I guess it's just a standby mode), my Wii gets pretty warm, often warmer than during gameplay.

It's not hot, just warm. This morning I just turned it on and it felt pretty toasty. Anyone else see this?

It's warm, but I often find that depends if I've been doing something cold before, like swimming in the sea.

Er, yeah, mine can get a bit warm on standby too. ;)

If you're concerned, go into "Wiiconnect24" options, and turn off "standby connection". This will keep the Wii unit totally off (the standby light will turn red instead of orange). The unit will use a lot less electricity, and stay totally cool. However, it won't download stuff when its off.
