Back on Macintosh System 6 and System 7 all of the kids at my school used to play a mixture of Dark Castle, Crystal Quest and that amazing Star Trek network battle game - can anyone remember what it was called?
These were the first games I ever played on any games system, so I guess you could call me an old-ish Mac gamer.
Please reply to the thread with any other early Mac gaming experiences which you still remember.

I was a huge fan of Crystal Quest, I wasted so much time on that when I should have been studdying. It still works in the 'classic' environment on a PPC Mac if you want to relive the memory.
I see it's now available on X-Box live for the 360. Seems a bit extravagent to buy a 360 just for that tho....

The Star Trek game was called Net Trek. I've just found info about it in various places. Apparently there are still people playing variations of it now!
Certainly going to check this out when I get home from work.

Does it still have the rude sound effects, I wonder...
