Any FW400 to FW400 cable will work with the iSight.

Not with the apple isight mount. I bought a mount for the isight but cannot use the mount without the apple cable, which is thinner than normal firewire cables, and has specific dimensions.

You can go get an Apple cable at any Apple Store. They work just fine.
